May 28, 2017 - Annual Memorial Day Picnic...

             Our annual Memorial Day weekend joint service at The Springs will be the final service at the Lazy 5. Plan to attend the service and picnic at the Springs that day, as we give thanks to God for his answers to our prayers. Bible study and Sunday School begin at 9:00 and the service begins at 10:30. There will be an abbreviated service at Shepherd of the Mountains beginning at 9:00, but there will be no Bible study or Sunday School at SotM.

2017 - Ascension Service...

On Thursday, May 25 at 6:30 p.m. we celebrate the festival of Jesus' Ascension into heaven.

Calling all Church Softball Players...

June 4 - The Springs Lutheran Dedication...

Save the date for dedication Sunday at The Springs Lutheran Church on June 4. The new church building and its furnishings will be dedicated to God's glory at the 10:30 a.m. service. Pastor John Beck will preach the sermon. A service of praise and thanksgiving will follow at 4:30 p.m. Pastor Matt Vogt, district mission board chairman, will preach that sermon. A meal catered by BJ's Barbeque will follow.

 

May 6 - LWMS Spring Rally...

             The Lutheran Women's Missionary Society Spring Rally will be at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Sacramento on Saturday, May 6. Pastor Paul Ziemer will present on WELS ministry to the military. All women and men are invited to attend. If you would like to carpool to the rally, please sign up on the Communication Center bulletin board. For more information, please speak to Jan Bennett.
