The seminarians are coming! Twenty-five students from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary are coming to Reno to canvass the North Valleys and let the community know about our new mission congregation, Light of the Valleys Lutheran Church. Please pray that the Lord will bless their efforts for our mission!
The North Star Chamber Players (the woodwind group that Ben Benson plays in!) are performing in the Washoe County Libraries and at Shepherd of the Mountains in December. Here are the dates, locations, and times:

Due to the midweek Advent services, midweek Bible class is in recess until January. Plan to join us
then – either on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 or Thursday mornings at 9:30!
Midweek Advent services will be on the first three Wednesdays of December: the 6th, 13th, and 20th. They will begin at 7:00 p.m. at The Springs. Come and prepare your heart to receive your Savior.
Christmas for Kids will be on Saturday, December 9 from 9:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. We need several volunteers! Please speak to Ardelle Foster if you can help.
Church decorating will be held Friday, Dec. 8, at 6:00 P.M. Plan to come and eat and decorate! Childcare will be provided. Please talk to Jan Bennett if you need childcare. More details will follow.
We are planning three children's events at the North Valleys Regional Park as outreach for Light of the Valleys Lutheran Church. The dates are Saturdays January 13, February 10, and March 10. If you are interested in helping with these events, please speak with Pastor Derme. And please pray that the Lord will bless our efforts!
